Today was a little better than yesterday.
Christina has been temporarily released from the hospital and she's sore and very tired. I stopped by the pharmacy today to pick up Christina's 14 different medications she needs.
We need to get home to Post, Texas to disconnect utilities, pack necessities and tie up all loose ends, say goodbye to family and friends, and return to Houston for Christina's treatments all within a week of arriving home, but first we must stay in Houston for a couple weeks because the doctors want to make sure Christina is strong enough to make the 9-hour trip home.
My husband was forced to quit his job in Post and we now have to relocate for at least 6-7 months to Houston to continue Christina's treatments. This, of course, means that we will have to find a place to live, my husband will have to find a job and I am unable to work because I must take care of Christina's baby girl, my precious granddaughter Aubre. She is such a good baby, but I know she misses her mama playing and carrying her. My Christina has been too weak to even hold her little girl for quite a while now.
Here is a picture I took yesterday while Christina slept in her hospital bed. I put the baby to sleep right next to her mama and couldn't resist taking a picture.
This is my beautiful granddaughter Aubre:
As you can imagine, these trips to Houston have completely drained us of any savings we had. I have been praying about this move to Houston without any resources.
I have set up a paypal account in the hopes of receiving some help from readers, if at all possible.
If you can afford to donate even $1, it will be greatly appreciated. Also, please keep Christina and our family in your prayers.
Here is the link for paypal: cindyaguilar28@yahoo.com
Thank you for stopping by and God bless you!
Cindy
